Hi Andriy, great idea for a scene! I like the attitudes a lot, but I wonder if they are in the best order, and if perhaps it would work better with fewer ideas. On the syncsketch I noted what I thought were the 7 main ideas or beats of the performance: 1 - disgust 2 - contempt 3 - discomfort 4 - peeking 5 - incredulous 6 - dumbstruck 7 - gives up
Beats 1 - 4 seem to build in energy, then beats 5 and 6 lose energy. 7 has the biggest energy. 5 and 6 are funny attitudes, but they feel rushed, and need more time to read properly. I think you either need to start in one of these low-energy attitudes and build up the energy to 7, or you need to remove them. Honestly, I could see you doing the entire shot in attitude 6, and then he goes to 7 at the very end. But I think it would work better if you just went 1-4 and then directly to 7 (cut out 5 & 6). Alternately, you could have a 2nd judge sitting next to him who is in the 6 attitude for the entire shot.
